Day 13 · Furka, Grimsel and Vaduz
An early departure from Lugano and a short stop in Andermatt lead into Furka, Grimsel and Susten. After a stop in Vaduz, the day ends at the booked b_smart motel Schaan.

Major experiences with clear decision points
The weather forecast is good and the main plan crosses all three passes. Enter the stops in order so navigation cannot optimise away a pass.

Leave Lugano early and use Andermatt as a short break, charging and status stop before the pass circuit.
- 02
Drive Realp → Furka Passhöhe → Hotel Belvédère → Gletsch → Grimsel Passhöhe → Innertkirchen.
- 03
Continue via Gadmen → Susten Passhöhe → Wassen, then finish with Vaduz centre and the motel in Schaan.
ABRP recalculates the route and charging stops. Weather, speed, temperature and actual battery level can change the result.
The hotel decision is final and the stay is booked for 2 adults and one 14-year-old child in 1 room.

Devil's Bridge near Andermatt
A quick dramatic stop at the bridge and Schöllenen Gorge before Andermatt. Add coffee or charging in Andermatt if needed.

The first major panorama stop, overlooking the Urseren Valley and Gotthard Massif.

The iconic hairpin, glacier landscape and two viewing platforms over the glacial lake. Allow 20–30 minutes for views and photos, or 60–90 minutes if the trail and ice grotto are open.

Use a safe pull-off before the valley floor for the classic view of the hairpins, Gletsch and the climb towards Grimsel.
Rhône Glacier ↗Grimsel Passhöhe and Grimsel Hospiz
Stop briefly at Totensee on the pass, then take the short detour to Grimsel Hospiz for the best view over Grimselsee, the dam and granite mountains.
Grimselwelt ↗Steingletscher and Susten Passhöhe
Steingletscher and Steinsee provide the best nature stop on Susten. Also stop briefly at the 2,224-metre pass summit.
Official road status ↗Vaduz
Finish in the centre. If energy remains, walk Schlossweg to the Känzile terrace for views over Vaduz and the Rhine Valley.
