Transition stage · Riviera to Switzerland
Day 12 · Antibes to Lugano
The route heads north-east through Turin, Milan and Como to the selected overnight stop in Lugano. Andermatt becomes a short stop on the longer pass day next morning.
The plan
A clear stage to Lugano
Leave early, keep healthy charging margins through northern Italy and drive to Hotel Federale, Via Paolo Regazzoni 8. The hotel has underground parking and two EV charging points.
- 01
Leave Antibes early and use the Turin corridor as the first major target.
- 02
Continue through Milan and Como without adding an ambitious city visit to the transport day.
- 03
Reach Lugano, charge the car and check official pass and road status for the morning.
ABRP recalculates the route and charging stops. Weather, speed, temperature and actual battery level can change the result.
The hotel decision is final and the stay is booked for 2 adults and one 14-year-old child in 1 room.
Worth seeing
Stops and experiences along the way
These are candidates, not a checklist. Energy, weather and traffic decide what actually fits the day.
Turin
A natural geographic milestone. The centre is only realistic if the day has a very strong margin.
Turismo Torino ↗Como and Lugano
The lakes create an attractive finish to the long transport day before the overnight stay in Lugano.
Lugano Region ↗Lugano
A calm evening, hotel garage and charging create a tidy finish before an early departure through Andermatt.
